Mark Gurman of Bloomberg reports that Apple plans to start reopening many of the country's Apple stores, including those that had to close a second time due to spikes in infections across a majority of states. However, several US states and Spain saw such closures as higher COVID-19 case rates continued in localized areas. August also saw a significant slowdown in Apple Stores closing indefinitely due to increasing COVID-19 cases. Globally, several locations would temporarily close for 4-14 days before reopening to the public.
